I have also noticed this epidemic.

I hate people calling every manumatic transmission a "tiptronic." It's kind of like the "Walkman" effect of the 80s/90s. Every tiptronic is an automanual, but not every automanual is a tiptronic.

Plus, when you go over a speed bump you're likely to have your hood crunch up and fly over the car while you spin out uncontrollably...

That's just great. I fly between LAX and EWR every month and EWR is now under construction as well... 45 minutes to taxi on my last flight.

I agree. I prefer the weight of my Panasonic GX1 and smaller 4/3 lenses over my Nikon DSLR when I'm taking recreational pictures. The Panasonic takes great pictures and has a lot of advanced features. I'm jealous of the built-in viewfinder on the G5...
