Or you know... counterpoint. The fan theories were right and rather than change them arbitrarily for “Surprise” they are going with the story the way they intended? Changing things for no other reason than “people guessed it right” is fucking stupid so I’m glad they are going the way it seemed to be going.

Nintendo never localized Mother 3.

Except not really? The Dornish plot in the books is actually interesting and is leading into events happening in the next book.

I think that’s part of it. But there’s also a concern that the things they liked (before they were popular) are changing to grab a wider audience. It’s understandable not be happy that something you liked is changing. It’s like your friend is changing to try and fit in with the cool kids.

Mads Mikkelsen looks like the guy who jokes all the time, only people never pick up on it. It must be a source of constant disappointment for him.

As much as I love the idea of Tilda Swinton as a reimagined Celtic Ancient One on paper, she has a shaved head, is wearing obviously Chinese-influenced garb, lives in what appears to resemble a Buddhist temple, practices kung fu, and spouts pseudo-koans. Do I detect a fellow Lovely here?

One of the most memorable moments in this game for me was when I drew the mysterious mirror card, where I saw myself from another time, and he handed me an item, telling me I’d need it. Later in the same game, after having used the item, I drew the mirror counterpart card and had to give that item to my past self.

I would just like to say, as I do from time to time, that I love seeing tabletop board game coverage on Gawker sites.

Why? You need people to validate your hobbies?

Yeah, I don’t understand that either. Is shooting hoops by yourself depressing? Is playing guitar without a band depressing? Is cooking a nice meal for yourself depressing? Nope, nuh-uh, and not at all.
