So you don’t appreciate elseworlds tales then? Just because they don’t have lasting impacts doesn’t mean the stories being told aren’t worthwhile.

The idea that the side stories are more appreciated then the main story I would say sounds right. But it’s only the couple that really speak to each person. If you read every tie in then the idea of two worlds fighting becomes boring and stale. I love classic Oracle so I read that story and it’s great, same goes for a

I lay a lot of the blame at WB’s feet. They treat their comic book movies like they would all movies, in other words what do they think would make the most money. They are in no way concerned about making a good adaptation. The problem stems from having Nolan’s Batman series be super popular and more importantly made

I know that we, of the comic loving variey, are normally a jaded and cynical lot but I gotta say that I am optimistic towards this. I really love alternate universes and have really enjoyed the Secret Wars main story so far and the new comics for this event sound fun. I don’t know if the aftermath will work as well

So I know this list is based on educated opinions but how is Astro City not included? It’s so consistently amazing and a different look at a world with superheroes. But that aside all of these I read and adore, except Stray Bullets and Southern Bullets. They aren’t my taste but I only hear amazing things about them.

I had an interesting trip to Target where I saw a lot of Avengers merchandise, without Black Widow of course. I did find one thing with her front and center though.... a decorative basket.

I want to star this a million times.

Now I seriously want to glue my games to the wall as a nice storage/art display.

It’s funny but I just read the summaries for those Secret Wars comics from Marvel and most of them made me really excited. These are... nothing too interesting to me except the Section Eight comic and the Prez one. I don’t want to be biased with these two comic companies because I adore both universes but I want some

I can’t speak for fans of the original Starfire, but that comic pretty much summed up my experience. I enjoyed the cartoon and then read that first issue of the new 52 version and hated it. I do have a friend though who loved those original Teen Titans comics and Starfire and he also detested her new characterization.

My store allows 3 but you can buy more for 50 cents each.

Well simple answers would be Dresden, Last Airbender and DW comics ☺

My personal favorite is Tiny Titans. Super cute and a great intro to DC comics.

Konami videogames.... maybe, but konami? Nah, they makes tons of money in digital games, like three times as much for video games.

This is my big problem here... if his teeth were normal this wouldn’t be as bad. But acting will be the real decider here.

Yeah, I never minded 3a. season 4 was just pointless. The new characters were just recycled characters from previous seasons, and the plot focused on that whole dead pool list that had a terrible conclusion. Add to that having Danny randomly disappear... and I was basically just annoyed through it all.

Yep Teen Wolf got really good.... and then last season was crap and the best characters aren’t even there for the new season... so for the first time I don’t care about the new season.

I won’t say they’re wrong, cause obviously opinions can’t be...

Well Last Herald Mage was younger me’s second favourite series, after Tamara Pierce books.... I did reread it as and adult and it was fun and still rather heartbreaking, but if you got used to super deep books and more dense fare, well then it might just not work for you anymore. A great suggestion for younger readers

That Doctor Who news made me sad, cause I would love to have seen Brian Blessed as Odin. Then it made me have a panic attack when I saw the word illness in relation to the guy... I really don’t like thinking of a future without him.
