For me personally I'd agree. I loved the storyline of the games, the ending to ME3 we'll just ignore for right now...

Yay!
The real answer is it doesn't matter!
Yeah I gotta go with the Klingon style as my favourite, but I am a bigger Star Trek fan.
No idea if you're right, but damn, I really hope you are. Cause I hate that suit....
That was great!
I'm waiting for someone to release the super teaser for the teaser of the trailer for the movie.
Yeah and it's a HUGE part of Peter's past.
I do , dearly, hope you meant shippers...
Yeah this poster is.... well great for an ad for London or for a fashion ad...
The most interesting thing I take from this is that it seems to cut out the idea of Ant-man being in Avengers 2. Which, personally, is a yay!
I think another big reason why THIS guy and not THAT guy, is because this movie seems to be a pet project for Edgar wright. It's not like Marvel said we want Ant Man, it's Edgar Wright liked the idea of the character, made test footage, and got it approved to be a movie.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead? Well personally I don't see her in the role... I can only think that Marvel is going for a... trendy name? Maybe... Oh well. I'm sure whomever they pick when i see the movie I won't even care :) I'll have Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan.
I still think they've put off killing him only because no one would care, and probably some messed up political correctness angle that says they'd be wrong to kill their only African American. Though now with Michonne.... he might not be safe. Though they gotta give him more to do first, so that when he DOES die…
Guilty pleasures....
I think the excitement of "dark" comes from some idea that dark = serious. And genre fans are excited about being taken seriously. I mean in the last like 10 years fantasy tv shows, comic book movies have all taken off. And most of them seem to be connected to grittier, dark ideas....
All I can think of right now is Starship Troopers and their terrible/awesome propaganda.
I'm glad someone else mentioned that it was Allen first, not Dale....
I haven't seen it yet, but apparently the movie Goemon is beautiful, at least, to look at. A review I read of it said it was a beautiful fantasy ninja movie, though it mostly surrounds the events of the sengoku period, which is pretty much all anyone seems to care about when it comes to Japanese history...
I'd guess it's the "cool" job in the army. That's the one you put on the poster to get them to enlist... and THEN you slam them with being the suckers to bayonet-charge into the mouths of kaiju.
