That’s 15 minutes of drawing? Can I be your apprentice?

I could see GM doing this, pulling a Ford GT, even though we’ve all suspected a mid-engine Cadillac has been in the works along with the Vette.
I took 15 minutes and did a quick sketch of what this vehicle might look like. Maybe if I get some extra time I’ll repost a better one. I took styling cues from the Escala…
I’m pretty sure that was his point.
Daily reminder that a Malibu can top 140mph
a lot Corvette owners are already grumpy men north of 55...
Don’t worry, I’m sure that will be a $3k option.
I think the biggest problem with that and why they went with black is that if you do make the bumper all body color, it then looks MASSIVE. I think that’s because the taillights are a smidge too high for as small as the bar is.
It’s growing on me in the last day or so, especially the “pause” light. Only thing I have a gripe about is all the black on the lower bumpers. I would prefer if it was painted the same as the chassis in some areas (warning: shitty photoshop to get a rough idea across)...
I’m sad to say that this is the first modern 911 that I actually thinks look MORE like a Beetle. It’s that stupid front fascia. I REALLY don’t like it (and I don’t like it on the 718's either). Looks WAY too much like this:
nope. they’re rad.
Hitler’s home and an old VW that belonged to a composer. Yeah, those two are almost exactly the same thing.
Ironically the ONLY good progressive commercial is a parody of terrible Chevy ones.
Or we could just look at it as what it is, the restoration of a historic piece of automotive history.
You are aware of how financing works, yes? If you find yourself in possession of something that needs $100,000 worth of repairs to be able to sell for $10,000,000, you can find any number of banks willing to give you a $100,000 loan secured by the auction proceeds.
Basically - he struck gold. My guess is he got financing for the restoration, and we’ll soon see it go for several million on the auction block.
I don’t know, but it’s probably a single 45-letter word.
But if it was a Dodge Magnum or something, people would say it’s “murdered out”. How do you say that in German?
That was beautifully written. Thank you.
How did you recover?
