I think this could possibly be the best idea to release it. Make the supra a high end model with absurd speed. Have more base models ala camaro vs ZL1 for the masses.
It’s like Jeep was trying to figure out how to completely do away with its past back then. And then we got all those 2000's abominations that I’m sure were being conceptualized at this time. Glad they’re at least pretending to focus on heritage now. If it would translate to something other than a marketing powerpoint…

It does look like a 1991 concept. I see some of the same design elements as the Dodge Neon…

Seeing this and reading all the outdoorsy and off road stuff in the press release makes you think why did they get rid of the FJ Cruiser in the first place only to give us this (if it comes to production). This could have been a second gen that was more every day friendly with 4 actual doors, and way more economical.

Small nit to pick with the Rezvani. Whoever installed that subdued American flag replica on the passenger fender did so incorrectly. The “field of stars” is always supposed to face forward. So unless this thing spends it’s day driving around in reverse everywhere... it is incorrectly applied.
