I wasn’t taking a position. I was merely anticipating that people would show up to exuberantly rail against how the ban itself is patriarchal (and of course Islamophobic) but nobody would show up to mention that it pales in comparison to female oppression in the Islamic world.

Your response says that I am shitting on Feminists for making an argument that you think is idiotic? That isn’t what’s happening here.

One side says “you must be entirely covered, whether you like it or not.” The other side says, “you just can’t be completely covered.” Clearly the former is a far stronger imposition than the latter. What is the alternative that you would propose to prevent women from being kept covered against their will.
