Shhhh... your facts don’t follow the narrative
While I agree there have are lots of low information voters, that has ALWAYS been the case. Many people can’t be bothered to become fully engaged in politics. Furthermore, this applies to both sides of the political spectrum. It’s the job of the candidate, the party, and their supporters to create and simplify a…
They guy you’re yelling at never claimed that the complaint was legit. Pointing out that he was complaining was only mentioned in the context of “no, he wasn’t blaming the defenders”
It’d be nice to see an actual football discussion on here about Penn State and not some stupid, internet neckbearded, mama’s basement dwelling idiots. Look we get it, Sandusky was bad. JoePa was bad, Larry Moe and Curley were bad. And they are all gone and there is nothing anyone can do about it. I hate it and them…
Oh, yes. Heaven forbid that Penn State should ever be allowed to move on from its shameful past. We must grind their noses into the dirt. They must suffer interminably. Bad, bad Penn State. The people who played tonight must take no pride in their accomplishment, because ooriginal sin and all that.
I think it’s kind of sad how he sidelined his own best judgment in deference to a figure of authority, an authority whose own judgment is not to be questioned, and it cost him his own better interests while only furthering the narrow interests of the organization that authority represents.
Thank god, otherwise my feet would be cold.
Can you at least give credit to the commenter in the previous article that mentioned Pseudobulbar effect?
I use the terms posse and thug however the fuck I want.
It’s not.
As a white guy, I legitimately didn’t know posse was considered a loaded term. Is this word something that is offensive to minorities? I’m genuinely curious because I had no idea.
Trump voters are tired of literally everything and everyone being called racist, and raced literally being at the center of every political discussion, and the general McCarthyism of modern progressives, engaged in a perpetual game of I Spy a Racist.
Thankfully, the Democratic establishment, of all things, may be rejecting this sort of racist pacification of racists.
In the first 48 hours as president elect trump has:
1. Incited violence against members of the GLBTQ community.
2. Invited the public support of the kkk via their parades & celebratory rallies.
3. Put together a transiiton team of chris christie, newt gingrich, rudy giuliani, kris kobach (author of Arizona’s SB 1070…
You’re kind of making my point with your last paragraph though. The protests about Obamacare had a reason, and were about actual, tangible legislation that effects people.
This mentality is what empowered people to vote Trump in the first place. You’ve clearly learned nothing.
As a member of a demographic that has something to fear from Trump: here’s a better idea, how about YOU shut the fuck up? Do you not realize how insanely unhelpful your attitude is? You want to play ideological purity gatekeeper against people that share our goddamned ideology and want to help? How did that attitude…
Congratulations on not learning a goddam thing in the past 24 hours.
Frankly there’s a lot of the left that needs to learn this. I have seen so much “oh if they abandon us for being jerks to them then they weren’t real allies anyway” and “I shouldn’t have to explain any of this to you and so will go off on you for not knowing and asking me about [cause/issue]” that it makes me want to…
I voted for Hillary - but for a flicker of a moment, as I read this comment, I was glad Trump won
