Oh hey look it’s the ghost of Gawker past come to jaunts via cancer sent out through nu gaw- I mean “Gizmodo”.

Part the allure is that they’re doing this on-premises running off of their own power generator which has been running at excess capacity for years and years. This way Kodak gets to make more senae out of that excess power capacity and you get to mine at 4c per KWh.

Reminder that it’s pretty clear that without this game, we never would have gotten RWBY!

Damn, and here I thought I was the one winning the immaturity lottery with the relationships I’ve had. He was going through a lot and rather than try to be perceptive, supportive, or compassionate she decided to make up some bullshit test.

You’d really think so, but honestly the most fucked up shit happens because of people’s assumptions that it - whatever “it” happens to be - just can’t be. My best friend and ex lost her fucking mind and eventually culminated in her sexually assaulting someone, all because the abusive environment (she’s blind) she’s

You’re not wrong at all. He’s getting too caught up in this emotionally and is making emotionally-driven decisions. This chick clearly has herself under his skin and you can tell this isn’t entirely level just from that.

Now that I’d be tempted to agree with if I hadn’t personally come unglued whenever this happened to me. Hell, I was emotionally violated by the last one to the nth possible degree and as a result I *still* can’t tell the story perfectly - nor even well - nearly seven months later. I tend to just be really quiet about

I mean, have *you* met any of those people face to face? For one they deliberately target the mentally ill, and for another they really are that kind of unreal scary.

Unlives.

Because people decided to make politics out of that within the last, oh, 7-10 years ago at least.

I mean, crazy happened to me thrice. Could be in the process of happening to me again two times over but at least one of them is pro-active about seeking mental health care to the best of their ability. I’ve picked up my fair share of stalkers over time who I wasn’t even in a relationship with, too.

I got roughly 55 out of a broken Storm and credit the parts and lubes. Spark plugs are simply better now and were then when I owned it. Even chassis lubes are better.

It’s what happens when you take the same fundamental engineering and apply modern lubricants and parts to it. It’s as though in the intervening years everyone forgot how to engineer for that kind of fuel economy and then did a lot of hand wringing about how impossible it was.

Apparently this was intentional and it was expected that the same buyers would have upgraded by then. Either that, or the designer just wanted to keep the spirit of the car alive, which is my pet theory seeing as you see elements of the design all the way until the last Saturn sports.

This joke is just too much for anyone in the know.

Correction: Storms were mostly their own thing.

Ah yes, my first car: a 1990 Geo Storm.

I think the joke was that within the Central Finite Curve Jerry is a multiversal constant and thrives in a day care setting.

Inclined to partially agree, but I’d like to point out that emissions standards at this juncture are at war with fuel economy - more fuel economy means less fuel burned to go the same distance ergo less emissions for God’s sakes - and they’re designed to look and sound good at first blush.

Ah, finally. Some Good Kinja about my favorite show. This is Good Kinja.
