Your notifications deserve to be set on fire for the idea that “Jordan Peterson can tell you how to be a good man.” He’s a bigoted, misogynistic hack. (https://www.theguardian.com/science/2018/feb/07/how-dangerous-is-jordan-b-peterson-the-rightwing-professor-who-hit-a-hornets-nest).

predictably unable to shut up about Mars, concludes that his “greatest hope” is to have humans “create a self-sustaining city on Mars.

You know what would be even better?

Macroeconomics is the one science that you should ALWAYS be very cautious applying past scenarios to present conditions. The variables are almost never the same, even though the anecdotal symptoms may look the same.

While I don’t think it’s our fault, I’d actually blame politicians, the truth is that unemployment goes up when inflation falls and vice-versa. This is a well established macro-economic trend.

Well, now we know what the next GOP talking point is going to be:

Ah yes, more folks are working and have a bit more money than they have in 30+ years so now inflation is our fault. Not the price gouging and stock buy backs, or the PPP loan forgiveness, it’s the regular folks who’ve been scraping by for decades.

Repossessions are low because the tow trucks that would have repossessed them were themselves reposed.

Its ok to keep saying true things.

I think you’re right about his ‘’ religious fans ‘’! I had an exchange on twitter with one of them ( about the Cybertruck pricing ) and ouf. It was something....

I am not sure anything could change their mind / point of view...

Just look at Trump. He’s a totally corrupt evil moron but (some) people treat him like the pope. Musk is going to have to literally kill someone on TV at the next presidential inauguration to even make a dent.

Elon rarely acts like a man.

Did Musk Propose Hyperloop to Stop California High-Speed Rail, or was it just another instance of Elon blurting out a half-formed idea?

To be fair, America just isn’t that capable of large-scale efforts like high-speed rail. Maybe several decades ago, but I don’t see it being the case now.

Can we throw him away yet?

About 50% of the houses in my neighborhood are owned by corporations and rented out. As a home owner, it’s nice having my home price nearly doubled in 5 years, but it sucks for people that are trying to get into a house.

Followup story: weird nerd fanboys continue to be nerds who are weird fanboys.

Did you even read the article, or jump to the comments after reading the title? It specifically says, multiple times, that the little things AREN’T to blame, rather it’s a spending mindset.
