So from what I see it seems that the entire game is like creative mode with the possibility of dying, but no real ramifications for that. Does anyone knows if theirs plans for a survival mode of any kind? Part of the appeal of minecraft was it’s crafting system. Finding rare materials while exploring caves and then

There’s very little creativity in guns these days. Only game that comes to mind with different guns (meaning not your regular military shooter) was bulletstorm, which was severely underrated.

Hence why I proposed they release flying for the previous region with the release of expansion packs. That way players who are returning there to do quests can do it quickly and painlessly, but the vast majority of players will have moved on to new content so that players leveling there won’t be swarmed with max level

I wish there was a dialogue in the industry how intrusive DRM can actually encourage piracy, and how investing in it costs more money than it generates in “forcing” people to buy it. Most recent example was Dragon Age Inquisition. Apparently there was a huge amount of money dumped into developing a unique new

I think the issue is that flying negatively impacts all players who are going through the content that aren’t level 100. I understand why it’s not in the game for level 100’s right now. It separates players from the world. It lessens the impact of the environments and the story they want to tell on the ground.

I do have to say that right now, not being able to fly has improved Draenor’s experience. That being said, they SHOULD introduce flying with the first patch of the next expansion, where players are just trying to get through the content to level up.

I wonder if the author of this article will see this. DAI still has problems today. There’s a huge forum of PC players who, despite using Origin, cannot get DAI to go online. That means we get no access to any of our purchased DLC, DA Keep saves, or other online content.

I don’t think the problem is players getting angry. I think the problem is developers over promising. If the footage they are showing is actually not possible for the game, then clearly they’re not in the right phase of development to show us what they’re making. Simple solution devs. Don’t show the proof-of-concept

Yes, but the market can’t know what it wants if no one knows about it. I’ve noticed that publicity is 90% of what makes these kickstarter campaigns successful is how well it’s marketed.

Seriously?!? Did people’s mods destroy Skyrim for you too? How about Half Life 2? Were both of those games absolutely garbage because mods? You don’t have to play with mods if you don’t want them. Saying that mods ruined it is like saying that adding mustard to a sandwhich that didn’t come with mustard now ruins the

There’s a serious lack of raiding content, and that is a huge issue. To put it in perspective, vanilla wow had Molten Core, Onyxia, Black Wing Temple, Zul Gurub, Ruins of Ahn Qiraj, Temple of Ahn Qiraj, and Naxxramas. Burning Crusade had Karazhan, Zul’Aman, Gruul, Magheridon, Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep, Mount

The funny thing is that Rockstar could have avoided this whole fiasco by deliberately supporting mods, and giving players a pipeline through which to produce mods. By having control over that, they could have kept mods to strictly single player. Instead they did nothing, so modders doing what they wanted the only way

Interesting thing. Half Life Episode 2 still says its’ the second in a trilogy of episodes on steam. http://store.steampowered.com/app/420/?snr=1…
At this point, since valve has not confirmed anything, couldn’t that be considered false advertising?

I think the idea of paying for mods is great. That being said, this was implemented terribly.

Firstly, the community should have been told about it far in advance. It shouldn’t have been dropped on us.

Secondly, it should have been done with a new game, not Skyrim. Taking something that people were getting for free and

Remember how one of the draws to a game like Skyrim was that you would get a huge increase in playtime because all the mods? Well now they’re all just 3rd party DLC. Skyrim just effectively quadrupled in price for PC players.

I guess I’m the only one underwhelmed by the look of this game. Melee combat ala Arkham. Driving and shooting. Seems fun, but nothing I haven’t seen before. The story will have to really stand out to be interesting. The one thing missing from this gameplay was one the developers know how to do well already, and that’s

Actually that’s not from the mod. That’s from the explosive punches cheat. The mod adds way more power than the explosive punch does.

True, but once again this is only one aspect of the game. You have a bunch of artists and the physics programmers working together to create the gore. Then you still have the game designers and level designers who are working on the gameplay. It's like how war movies really have realistic gore, and they have a whole

Game design is not a 0 sum thing. They can have a portion of the team dedicated to making it gory, while having other designers working on the story. Also, this isn't a single player game. There's not much of a story. Killing Floor didn't have much of a story. The original was really fun too. Also, you assume that a
