I'll be honest that when I backed this project I was hoping for a high definition 2D illustrated style. That's what the illustrations they showed during the kickstarter lead me to believe. I'm a bit disappointed that they went for 3D.

EA forces struggling development studio to produce microtransaction riddled piece of crap. EA recieves large public backlash against that game. EA cans the studio, rather than realizing it's own execs are more likely responsible for the failure.

Well considering the graphical hardware in both consoles right now is AMD, I think they are doing fine. Especially since most games are going to be made for consoles first, optimizing for AMD hardware will likely be a priority.

PS4 exclusive.

Funny thing, that's what made wow so successful. If you run out of things to do once you hit end game, then there's nothing to keep you playing the game. Thing is, all I've seen from Black Desert is it's graphics and a bit of combat. I've heard nothing about it's questing mechanics or dungeons or anything of the sort.

Have you seen any video of the actual game play from Black Desert. The game looks pretty, but the combat seems extremely dull. And there has been zero talk about end game content. I have little hope for black desert beyond it's ability to show beautiful graphics.

That actually makes me put less faith in the game. It just tells me that it wasn't a big enough game for them to devote more assets to. I'm a bit sick of games being released for hardware that is now 9 years old. The same hardware that was only as good as a 2 year old high end gaming PC at the time. All they will do

Being released for previous gen? Well you know that just screams quality! When their image says their goal is to make sales, and doesn't make mention of a goal of creating a worthy successor to far cry 3, you know the game is gonna crash and burn.

This is why game developers should just let people host their own servers from the get go. Forcing us to go through their private servers just ruins the experience. Seriously, when will the industry learn to look at valve as an example of how to earn customer trust?

The fact that Zenimax didn't file this claim till after the facebook deal went through is a huge strike against them in court. Though this will likely ultimately end in a settlement, because lawyers are expensive.

I feel like the multiplayer is pretty well the same game every time, and the campaigns feel tacked on and uninspired. But that's just my opinion.

Yeah I played it. Didn't get into it. I was a big fan of the campaign in Medal of Honor Allied Assault. It still has some of my most memorable moments in gaming.

Well, I think it's time the CoD formula be changed up a bit. It's been pretty much the same game with mild tweaks since CoD MW.

Am I the only one who want's to go back to WWII? I think since it's been almost a decade since the last WWII game, graphics have come forward substantially. It'd be interesting to see those locales re-imagined.

Teenage Ninja Shrek! (not a mutant, just an ogre)

Can you guys try and get an update on Valiant Hearts: The Great War. They announced it when they announced Child of Light, but I haven't heard anything of it since. It doesn't even appear to have it's own website.

2 years is usually the development cycle for an entire game. I know they are working with limited resources, but mojang hasn't released anything but scrolls in that time, and scrolls was mostly finished 2 years ago. They need to step up their game is all I'm saying.

I hear ya on that. BC was the height of WoW. I miss those old raids. That's why I'm going to wildstar. It seems to know what that audience wants.

Yeah I heard about that. So it's been 2 years now. Time for them to get another team on that since Bukkit dropped the ball.

Well achievements were added later in wow. They weren't there at the beginning. Also, all of the achievements that are no longer attainable have been relabeled as feats of strength and are no longer counted towards your 100% achievement completion.
