He even calls himself Plissken in one of the games as a code name. And Big Boss was the original character that was inspired by Snake Plissken from Escape from New York. Big Boss was also called Snake before solid snake was around.

Actual reason why he's called snake. Named After Snake Plissken. Even has the same missing eye as him.
You'd be surprised by how quickly you recoup your losses on game sales and game bundles. When you get $150 of games for less than $20 through an indie bundle, that adds up. I've probably done 10 or more of those over the years. Plus PC gaming is actually really affordable these days. The new GTX 750 is under a $150,…
No. and Neither can you with your console games. I've worked at multiple game stores, and unless the game is brand new, you're not getting more than $20 for it. Which is the average price I pay for a game on steam. Oh and then we have all the different humble bundle style sales. And GoG. Oh and you know all those old…
I'm sorry. I can't hear you over the sound of steam sales and the not giving a f**k about GTA 5. Have fun paying $60 for your new games.
I have no delusions of it dissolving entirely. However, to think that perceptions and the amount of victim blaming hasn't changed, and won't change unless mankind suddenly goes extinct, is just about the most ignorant thing I've heard since I watched the Ken Ham Vs Bill Nye debate.
Though disc based gaming may not go away soon, I don't think we'll see another physical disc format after bluray. The business is going to video streaming. Netflix and Hulu are strong indicators of that.
Agreed. And don't get me wrong, I'm not arguing the ethics of it in any way. I was merely stating some statistics, and things that as a man I've experienced and I know other men have experienced. Luckily the legal system is beginning to shift toward true balance in the divorce courtroom. My stepdad was able to get…
They may be decreasing, but I think you'll find the birth rates among the uneducated are still higher than those who are educated.
Actually the desire to have children is inversely correlated to education level. In both instances of men and women, the more they are educated, the less likely they are to want children, and those that do have kids have less kids than their less educated counterparts.
Many men are no longer interested in marriage anymore. Marriage is a risky endeavor for men now days, as divorce courts more often favor women over men. That, alongside the high divorce rate in the US, the prospects seem pretty risky. As such well educated men are now beginning to see marriage as more risk than it's…
Unrealistic ideals of people aren't a new development. Look at the ENTIRE history of art. There's always been an idealized form of the human figure. You're not going to get rid of that image. To try and suppress that image is to suppress expression and free speech. All you can do is educate people to have realistic…
Yeah, and if they lose that court case, all those people suing would then be liable for the developers legal fees. Unless these people are absolutely sure of their innocence, a lawyer wouldn't go anywhere near that.
Agreed. But I think the game has an account you use to log in. Either way, what people are saying is that THEY would sue the DEVELOPER for banning them, when it's well within the developers legal rights to ban users who break their EULA and TOS. Of course users are not breaking the law simply by ignoring the EULA and…
Thanks for the link.
Also, which supreme court case are you siting concerning EULA's or TOS?
Just because certain aspects of it aren't enforceable because they don't have consideration doesn't mean the whole EULA is null and void. Having you required to pay $1000 for visiting a website is not the same as being banned from a game because you used software that essentially reverse engineers their product.
Some people are saying they'd sue over getting banned from their game. Little do they know there's something called a EULA, or End User License Agreement. In it, they can stipulate what you're allowed to do with their software. It's likely that there is a clause in there that if you are hacking, you forfeit rights to…
You just said "that's a fact in my opinion"
Tell the 75 million on steam that PC gaming is dead.
I'm not saying that feminism isn't necessary, but right now it's become something that rather than discussing how to solve problems, it just talks constantly about how awful men are to women.
