Yeah, the Tap led me to go all-in on Dots once I learned I could configure them with a) my living room audio setup, b) Spotify, and c) TP-Link smart bulbs which don’t require a hub. (Though now I’ve bought so many in each room, an initial outlay for a Phillips Hue hub would’ve been cheaper). Nonetheless, pretty dope

I hear where you are coming from but the “bro” culture that has supported all these acts deserves a great deal of scrutiny and anger. I really hope that people like Jon Stewart reflect on their role and change for better. Frankly, we probably all need to do this.

“We took somebody’s word for it, and maybe that’s an error on our part,”

My first response was: what? And then, joke joke, and as he kept going I was like, ‘Look, I know this is very serious, but I know Louie. He’s always been a gentleman—to me.

I would believe it. I don’t care if you’re my bestest friend, if someone tells me you’re a predator, I will ghost your ass so fast you’d think my name was Casper.

Right? In what world would you expect to get an honest answer from the person accused of misconduct? Like, sure, “believe women” might be a bit too much for these guys just yet, but at least “don’t blindly believe men accused of sexual misconduct” seems like a workable principle.

I think he knew and just didn’t want to have the necessary uncomfortable talk with his buddy. I also think he didn’t really dig into it further so he can claim plausible deniability.

“We took somebody’s a man’s word for it..”

I expected more, Jon. But there ya go and here we are.

I know this is a candidate for the next New England Journal of Duh but I think men need to be better about trusting women when they come out about this stuff. There is literally no benefit to a woman making these kinds of accusations about a powerful man.

Calling the women’s Team USA and Team Canada’s rivals is a huge understatement. They are a blood vendetta with weapons and blades and all. And Julie and Caro are royalty.

No one apparently appreciates the Amazon Tap (based on sales figures), but I bought one as a way to dip my toes into the Alexa ecosystem and it convinced me to go all-in.

That’s why I said a fitting sequel. I don’t recognize those movies because they’re wretched.

I know Hollywood can work its magic but I’m not sure that Keiko Agena and Ellen Page (both 5'1") have the height and physicality to play professional hockey players. (Che and Ouelletre are 5'8" and 5'11" respectively.) All heights from Google so may not be 100% accurate but you get the idea.    How about Jamie Chung

Finally, the world gets a fitting sequel to The Cutting Edge.

I love everything about this story

These men are not mentally ill. They are sex offenders. Stop being sympathetic to them and talking about their “shame”. They are criminals.
