Boy, if you ever wanted an example of how the criminal “justice” system serves to protect the powerful, this is it. A prosecutor makes a basically secret, informal agreement with a powerful man to help the powerful man in a civil trial regarding the same conduct, and that secret, informal agreement then forms the

Kevin Federline quietly becoming the most responsible and sane adult in the extended Spears family drama was certainly not something that I saw coming in the early 00s.

I have a loved one with Bipolar Type 2 and have seen them spiral to the point where a conservatorship would have been something that should have been at least considered. I can understand, given what her behavior was 13 years ago, why the conservatorship was put in place at that time if she does actually have a mental

Yep. This isn’t some indie band hitting the club circuit. This is a Vegas residency. I’m pretty sure that she was working 7 days a week as she says. They rehearse like crazy for those gigs.

It’s the forced IUD for me. That’s pretty fucked up. Even through the rambling she made ALL of her points comparing from the last court date to present. The judge’s behavior, her family’s behavior, the lack of bodily autonomy, insight on her therapy sessions, and money extortion. She checked every box. It will be hard

Meanwhile, every other family dealing with a severely mentally ill family member can’t get ANYONE to even try to “help.” I guess because serious money is involved? WTF?

“The control he had to hurt his own daughter, he loved it. I worked seven days a week ... it was like sex trafficking. I didn’t have a credit card, cash or my passport.”

This conservatorship is an absolute disgrace. Britney Spears has certainly displayed very concerning behavior before, she has well-documented mental health issues, and I have no doubt she would struggle, maybe mightily, to handle her own affairs. And, so what? That last sentence describes lots of people, including

“during these proceedings, Jamie Spears has sold the family home and is currently living in an RV parked in a warehouse full of Britney Spears memorabilia in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.”

“...and God will deal with you White man.”

That man is a fucking grifter. Yall should listen to the Scam Goddess episode about him.

When you decide as a matter of principle that it’s impossible for you to be wrong or do anything wrong, it’s very easy to simply dismiss any thoughts that conflict with that hypothesis.

I’m for prison abolition except for white collar crime. Basically, just serial killers and white collar criminals in jail together.

Wait until you’re told to calm down.

Try a brief, shallow nod instead. You probably already do a quick head tip prior to breaking eye contact, at least to other men, without realizing it. It’s a universal gesture that acknowledges the presence of the other person and indicates your respect for their space/place.

I’m fully vaccinated now, and have no plans to ditch the mask. I like it. It's been a year since some random stranger told me to smile.

I love wearing a mask!  Men have stopped telling me to smile.

“Simply put,” one woman said, “I’m sick of being perceived.”
That last part is too real.

Your comment makes no sense. A lot of sexual predators are hideous nobodies.
