If social media is a public utility, I think it then follows that the services necessary to access social media are as well.

Just wait until Bobby Mueller on the school paper reveals he really smells of shit!

Also sounds like he’s arguing Twitter is an extension of the government. Social media as a public utility, huh?

Nunes is like a kid in middle school who finds a note that says he smells like farts and, instead of just throwing it out, stands up in the middle of the cafeteria and says “I found a note that said I smell like farts and I just want to say that’s not true and I do not smell like farts. So don’t say I smell like farts

The suit also contains this lil nugget:

If you’re into grifters, you should check out the podcast Who the Hell is Hamish. I’m in the middle of it now, and it’s pretty fascinating. And the New Yorker Radio Hour’s Long Distance Con.

I loved Bad Blood and I’ve still listened to The Dropout twice. I think having read the book helped me keep track of all the players who were talking, and it was fascinating to hear them in their own words. This story is a glorious buffet, and you should definitely keep going back for more.

The podcast was top notch. I consume a lot of podcasts and am able to discern those that are well produced and those that are recorded on a phone in somebody’s mobile studio (aka a car in a garage). The host is badass and there is an air of contempt for Holmes, and those selected as interviews were forthright and open

A couple of feminist friends took me to task for saying Holmes faked her voice. They said higher octaves don’t help women in the workplace, which I don’t argue with, and she only “lowered her voice an octave,” which in their minds wasn’t fake. I say she lowered it way TOO much, and that’s what makes it fake.

I watched this documentary and it hit me right in the gut. I was sexually abused when I was 12-13 but I didn’t realize until later in life much like Robson. The person who abused me was older, 28, and created this huge intense “relationship,” telling me we were in love and I was special and manipulating me. Much like

Great. Fuck ‘em both. In my dreams, this ends like Death Becomes Her with the two of them continually disfiguring each other and then spackling themselves back together.

I, for one, am glad for this lawsuit and look forward to quoting Nunes v. Twitter, Inc., in which the court expressly held, in relevant part, as follows:

Is he dumb enough to want to go through discovery.

Gah, you’re right, I’m fixing. I should have just sold highlighter palettes.

Oh man... the thing that hit me hardest was the interview that Wade did when he was 14, denying that Michael had ever touched him, juxtaposed against adult him recounting the story of what happened. Moreso even than the recontextualisation of MJs music... having an adult second look at that interview Wade gave when he

I’m struck my his insistence that he would never harm a child.  I do think he believes he never harmed these boys.  That they loved him, and physically responded to him.  Therefore, it wasn’t wrong.  It was only the small minded who couldn’t see that these were loving relationships.  I do think he believed that.  Its

Poor Andrew.

So the same agency that was able to track the menstruation of minors somehow just lost hundreds of those kids?
