Ah, I see what you were talking about. I am emphatically against rape jokes, particularly prison rape jokes—I work in criminal justice and know far more about the topic than I ever wanted—and was trying to say that Suzanne's innocent mop handle shouldn't be used to commit sexual assault.

I'm pretty well-educated on Jefferson, yes. But even if I knew nothing but "Jefferson literally owned Hemings", that would be enough for me to know that he raped her. There is no such thing as a consensual master-slave relationship. Period. End of story. It's like Daya and Bennett but times a million.
