I may or may not have bought this book when it came out, wanting to read it for juicy tidbits. Turns out, all the juicy tidbits were posted online in reviews and on blogs, leaving nothing else to the book. I read it in a few hours and returned it the same day. /ashamed.

If you are running for the joy of running, definitely transition to outside! Don't feel discouraged that you had to cut back - that's completely normal. If I didn't live in Chicago I'd run outside year round. My outdoor runs are so much more enjoyable and seem to fly by compared to the treadmill.

Wait...which airlines charge you if they run out of room for your approved carry-on? I fly a lot for work (but usually end up in seating group 4, somehow) and have had to check many a carry-on while boarding. Never been charged for it, though.
