@Interstella5555: gotcha. well, be careful - after installing the update, i couldn't find the new sms tones, but did notice that the update now wiped all the music from my 3GS for some reason. *sigh*

so where are these new sms tones? i just installed the update, went into a contact's details and tried to play with the feature, and no new tones are listed.

@Sobutosu: second agree. News like this just confirms that the major media networks aren't ready to see products like Roku, Google or Apple TV really deliver to the consumer. HTPC is the only option IMO, and a pretty stable one at that.
