Agreed. Big Air Cooled V-Twins(L-Twins really) dont make all that much horsepower. They are down on compression too but they sure are simple and uncluttered engines. My Monster S2r 1000 (993cc) Only makes about 85-95 HP but is like 430lbs Wet.
