It’s wonderful. Hiddleston plays the perfect LeCarre protagonist. Handsome, educated, very charming, utterly broken inside. Hugh Laurie is terrifying. I liked it a lot. But yeah, I think it’s a good candidate for a binge watch because of the bleak mood and suspense.

I would, personally, rather date tragic, smoldering Night Manager Hiddleston, but I kinda think this goofy dude mugging for the cameras is the real deal. If they have in common a love of boning beautiful, tall blondes and seeing themselves all over social media and entertainment news, there’s no better match. People

Yes, lettuce is grown with irrigation, and this system would be much more beneficial for irrigated crops and crops that grow to harvest quickly in a small space. Crops like grain and corn that require lots of space and aren’t irrigated have different economics.

There’s a significant savings in refrigerated transportation cost, as well as the ability to farm year round. Ordinarily, out of season lettuce and tomatoes would be trucked to NJ from the south or California. But yea I too would like to see how the numbers work out when all costs including equipment purchases are

Can’t she be into them for the same reason everyone else is? Because they’re super hot and talented? I wouldn’t need to work too hard to convince myself I should date Tom Hiddleston.

Nope, just in the billion papparazi shots of TS with her pals, I never saw him there before. Maybe I missed him.

Nah, those ones at at every party she’s ever given.

Equally true even if she has her publicist tip their favorite papparazo when they go out, just like she does *always*. That’s not a new thing she invented for this dating situation. If famous people didn’t like attention they would not be in show business.

You know, he’s always been giddy and silly in interviews. Up until now it was part of his charm as *our* internet boyfriend. Now, he’s someone else’s boyfriend and it’s not so cute. His silliness and exuberance are completely consistent with his actual, prior public behavior (jumping up and solo dancing at every talk

Disagree. There are a million male celebrities is you want a beard. Jon Mayer is (apparently) the go-to pants talent for when you need to bone badly enough that personality doesn’t matter.

Yeah but she did John Mayer. There is no reason to be around John Mayer if you’re not boning him.

In the past he’s been quoted as saying you should treat the woman you love like she’s amazing. She def has always been into PDA. Maybe he’s super into her and giving her what she likes in a super over the top way?

Also they’re socializing more with folks that seem more from his circle than hers, like you would do when you’re actually dating, as in “hey what friends of yours do you want to come to my big 4th of July publicity-nanza?” Including Ryan Reynolds (more Tom’s age and an actor), and the Williams daughter

If I were dating Tom Hiddleston I would want that shit on film and on the evening news. If I were dating Taylor Swift and it made her laugh I’d wear a stupid t-shirt and make a fool of myself.

Meh. Might be a matter of tone, but I think it’s reasonable to say, hey, I’m a person who wants to get married, have married babies, whatever, are you down for that with me or should I bump? He took the question seriously and made the right decision for himself. I doubt she’d have posed the question if she didn’t have

This was the first 4th of July weekend in 8 years that I haven’t hosted a huge multi-day party, and it was very very relaxing, just me and my daughter and her husband knocking around the farm, going for a relaxing paddle, cooking stew, day drinking, petting baby animals. I’m lucky.

About 5 years ago I switched to kindle. I only buy hardcopy books in a few topics (farming reference books, books about pirates, books about Early Modern culture and history). Now I’m packing up to move, and only have eight or so boxes of books and *all* of them are keepers, no sorting and tossing required. Electrons

You’ve just written the textbook description of writers block.

That’s a rumor invented by less productive writers. His work ethic and process and very well documented.

King’s book on the writing process is one of the very best how-to books for writers. A lot of what he writes just needs more editing. I think the publishers make so much money publishing everything he cranks out that no one has an incentive to take the time. When he focuses on crafting something, as I think he must
