May I be the first to say: Oy, gevalt.

Yeah! Thanks!

Right: My new tattoo looks so great. I love it a lot. I also went to this writing critique group my BOSS runs the other night with my friend and it was kinda really fun. We do creative writing, bring it in and share, and give each other constructive criticism. My coworker friend and I were the only ones under forty,

Wednesday night social? Hooray! Everyone! Look at my awesome new tattoo! (Shameless IG share)

He likes to hunt straws. If you leave your drink unattended for two seconds he snatches the straw out of it without spilling it, somehow. Then he loses the straw in the couch cushions and gets sad. TIL my cat is a baby.

My cat does this. Except he never spills the drink. #catsnotkids :o

My cat is also really into straws.

Remember families can open screen doors.

I forget, are both of you Canadian? Because I am and also mostly like my family... coincidence?? (possibly, especially if I’m forgetting where people are from on this site.)

IT ME. I am the spooky adult*! And I legitimately want everything on this list.

*adult?

If there was any eastern religious stuff included, it would have come from members of the student group organizing it who were legitimately part of that culture and trying to share. I actually don’t think they were doing any of that stuff, but I remember back in my first year that the group putting on the Yoga seemed

Right? It’s a real thing, but sometimes people are so mislead by wanting to curb appropriative practices that they lose balance altogether and wind up advocating outright segregation because partaking in anything from another culture ever is bad. Like, chill, and actually read the social psych textbook that you’re

I would just like to point out that yoga is available as a class to sign up for through the school gym, here. For a hundred bucks.

Oh thank god. I go there too and haven’t really been following this story. Weirdly enough, UOttawa isn’t always that great about issues of tolerance, imo. It just seems so stupid and unbelievable that this non-thing is the thing they are blowing up. Wat.

I’m so pissed at my school right now. It was a nice thing! And how is it appropriation if a multi-cultural group on a multi-cultural campus is putting it on? I’m normally more on the appropriation is a real problem side, but I just don’t think that’s what this is. It’s yoga. There are like 7 studios in my

I go to U of O and met one of the guys whowas part of the group that put on the free yoga a few years ago and some of them are legit faux-mystic college kids into all the “spiritualism” but also like, they put this on because it’s got proven benefits for exercise and stress relief and stuff. Like it’s just a yoga

HAHAHAHA I GO THERE. I read about this the other day and UGH. UOFO WHAT ARE YOU DOING.

Fuck it. I’ve been meaning to go to the free yoga every year but it never fit in my schedule, now I’m graduating this year. *shrug*
