One of the complaints I heard about New Vegas was that it’s more barren compared to Fallout 3 because it’s just a giant desert.

Rocky V ranks over Rocky III for one simple reason:
amen. We got an N64 that first Christmas it was out and we got KI gold. That’s it. We had to wait a month to get Mario for my brother’s birthday. Then.......nothing for like a year. I guess the people ho had that system as their first console probably have fond memories but for me who grew up on NES and SNES, the N64…
My wife and I traded the bread machine my sister bought us for our wedding in for an N64 and Mario Kart. Every night after I’d read to our son and put him to bed we’d scramble around the TV and run races for HOURS. That went on for months and we had a riot, so much we’d talk about specific moments the next day, just…
Solidarity post here; I saved for months from my first summer job, picked up the N64 on launch day, and proceeded to play Mario 64 into the ground waiting for Shadows of the Empire.
Man, Goldeneye was a clunky mess. I’ve never understood the passion for it. I mean, I was in college (albeit not in the US) and we were all about LAN parties, Quake and eventually CounterStrike. I knew a weirdo that insisted on playing the PC version of Turok, but I remember the people I used to hang out with looking…
With the exception of Mario 64, Star Fox 64, Mario Kart 64, Pilotwings 64, and Wave Race 64- I would use that same list as my first year disappointments with the N64. Not trolling or trying to be toxic- I just remember being very let down by almost every one of those games. I also had a PS1 and Saturn (and a decent…
Oh God.
Why are people watching this game? Why am I watching this game?
GoldenEye and...?
I did the same for the GameCube. I'm also a ghost.
I still only have, like, four games for my N64, and they’re all ones I had in 96-97.
I remember some of the 64 game prices were insane. I remember at Walmart in Canada Doom 64 cost like $120.
Perfect Dark was awesome. Also was Rogue Squadron. And Starfox 64
Got an N64 at launch, then traded it in for a Saturn and a bunch of games later on. Had a much better time, plus the games were cheaper. I’m not saying the Saturn was better...I’m saying that the Saturn was cheaper and had a larger selection of games.
From what I’ve read West Virginia is the best place for that statistically.
Greatest Of All Time. Not game of all time. Well, maybe in this context that’s what OP meant, but normally that isn’t what it stands for.
Oh man, I remember that eternal wait for games like it was yesterday. I’d already owned a PS1 and Saturn at that point- but Mario 64 and Pilotwings on day one- and then two months later, Waverace- and then all the way to February before Mario Kart 64- and then all the way until July ‘97 for Star Fox (GoldenEye came…
I fail to see where the problem lies.
I had a PlayStation and didn’t buy and N64 until Goldeneye came out and I was in college. You pretty much had to have that game if you were in college then. Ha ha! I don’t remember enjoyin anything else on that console very much. I liked the Super Nintendo more.
