No problem. Life is a constant learning process for everybody.

Yeah not something I would do. Clay and sealant works great. I’ve tried glass polish and buffer pads, but it didn’t make much difference.

  • For drying: like I mentioned, if you have the option of using a leaf blower, that will do probably 75% of the drying for you. Either way, what I do is spray down sections of the car with a spray detailer which helps break up water (while of course adding a layer of protection). For the spray, I use Meguiar’s D1560

I worked at a Honda dealer and we detailed a lot of customer cars and trade-ins. We always used whatever we were given that was bought in bulk and provided. So I don’t know the name of the product but it was similar to armor-all a shining protectant type stuff.

Well at least Mrs. Clinton isn’t Feinstein-stupid demanding backdoors to encryption. (Yes, I’m assuming she’ll walk the walk instead of just talk the talk once elected.)

Missing my steps.

I detailed cars for a while, owned my own shop and worked at a dealer as well. I still have my cheat sheet I made up in my wallet from 18 years ago....

A few notes:

No, no, no.

I got 90% Trump and 77% Gary Johnson. Guess I’m out of the closet now.

True, it’s definitely a generalization. I wasn’t trying to hide that... I wasn’t about to delve into each and every possibility. And maybe I read too much into your article/post - I realize it didn’t specifically call out causation, but I thought the post was intended to imply that people are systemically kept poor

The price of toilet paper is the same regardless of someone’s income. It seems to be you that is making generalizations.

Eh, there are some correlations but this doesn’t prove causation. A lot of poor people are poor due to bad decisions and/or lack of forward thinking, such as not purchasing toilet paper in bulk or on sale.

The curve is subtle, but I’d say you’d appreciate the curve more if you’ve used a flat ultrawide. With the flat, the side edges are noticeably “farther” and you’ll probably shift your head side to side to properly see things on either side of the screen. With the curve, though subtle, everything looks more uniform,

It’s surprisingly nice, and I approached this from the perspective of “this will probably be nifty but nothing signifcant, I’ll bet.”

Then you have nutjobs like me that has TWO LG ultrawides stacked.

Probably really good at first, then it just sours and gets bitter over time.

This is why you rock. This right here. Among other things. :)
