I have 29 days left of official summer yet, but that doesn’t mean grilling stops for us! Oh no, here in Wisconsin, I grill any time above 30 degrees!

Wireless headphones suck, unless they have gotten way better in the last few years. Just one more thing to charge. Audio quality isn’t the same either. Handy if you are working with your hands and need to keep a cord out of the way, but other than that I don’t see the benefit. Not to mention latency if you are…
I really enjoy playing these single player story based games a lot, where I can follow something at my own pace and enjoy the story of the game instead of following with a group of people in some multi player or MMO world. It just allows you to enjoy it in different ways. It seems like these types of games are few and…
And this is better than Hangouts how? Do I really need to convince everyone I know to download this in addition to Hangouts as well? I don’t think so.
So this is interesting, I use a bit of every one of these applications. I use OneNote for work, Evernote for storing long-term notes and organizing things for archiving, and Google Keep on my phone just for jotting quick notes and lists. I can never fully decide on sticking with one particular app for everything for…
Wow, thanks for the in-depth reply, very much appreciated! I’ve been detailing my own cars for several years and picked up a lot of tricks along the way, but clearly I still have a lot to learn from the pro’s :) I’ll take this all into consideration...and dump my brushes right away!
What do you mean by “dress” interior? I’ve been using the Meguiars interior car cleaner for a while and I like that it doesn’t leave much of a shine, but I’m not sure how well it protects the plastics. Is there something you would recommend after cleaning the interior to give it just a bit extra “pop” or something to…
I’ve never heard of using steel wool on windows, this sounds like it would scratch the hell out of them. Why would this be a good idea to strip the windows? All I do is spray them down with invisible glass and wipe, seems to do the job 80% of the way. What is the benefit of using a razor blade or steel wool?
I follow a lot of this advice, except I’m always trying to figure out a better way to dry my car. I’ve always used a chamois, of the synthetic variety. It seems to work better than a microfiber cloth for drying, as the microfiber cloths I have always seem to bead water off the cloth instead of absorbing it, thus…
Have to say, I’ve never used a microfiber cloth for drying my car. I find that it doesn’t pick up water effectively and it just beads off the cloth usually, leaving streaks of water behind. I’ve always used a chamois to dry. Usually of the synthetic variety. Does anyone have any suggestions for drying that might work…
Oh sometimes that doesn’t even work with the split frames. The previous owners of my old house left a king size bed upstairs, and we had an old house from 1920 that had very tight stairs to get around. We tried moving that old bed out of the house to throw it away when we moved out, and we just ended up leaving the…
I just went the entire month of July without drinking coffee. I went with 2-3 cups of green tea every day, then eventually no caffeine. I just started drinking coffee again this week, but only 1 cup a day. Today I just had two cups though. It’s my first day back to work after a week of vacation, so I totally needed…
Hillary thinks cyber security should be handled by privately owned servers located in the basement for sensitive use :P Need I say more?
On one hand, the article says that you can leave your phone plugged in all night long no problem. Then they go on to say that you should only charge your phone to 80% and don’t let it discharge below 40%. So if I’m only going to charge it to 80% following their best practices, then I can’t possibly leave it plugged in…
I just soak in plain water before I grill, but now that I think of it, everyone dumps a ton of salt on their corn anyway, so this can just speed up that process a bit. I always grill with the husks still on, it steams them at the same time, which makes it juicy and tender. Get the grill hot enough, and I take them off…
I have that exact same background! Guess I have good taste. Actually they rotate every 5 minutes with similar picturesque landscapes. I stopped using Rainmeter on my Windows 10 desktop after I upgraded. Maybe I should set it up again and share sometime.
I’d also add, make sure you use REAL maple syrup, not the cheap crap that is just flavored high fructose corn syrup. Makes a world of difference.
After switching from Android to iPhone recently, I’m glad to see this shared along with all the other wonderful app recommendations for other platforms you guys share. Turns out I already have about half of these. Thanks!
Okay so I just started playing about a week ago. After trying to login and fail like 6 times, and servers not letting me in for over 3 hours yesterday, and trying to evolve causing time outs and losing my “candy”, and catching nothing but weedle’s and pidgey’s, i’m starting to think this game really isn’t worth all…
So top side facing down when I place it in my pocket. Got it. At first I was thinking upside down and face down were the same orientation.
