I feel like this would work, until I vacuum my floors then all the powder would get sucked away. I might have to try this in a few spots and see what happens. My floors are nearly 90 years old.

This is also why my wife is a stay at home mom and quit her job after having our first baby. It didn't make sense for her to continue to work when everything she makes would go to child care costs. I'm actually saving money by her not working.

I actually rather like the Costco TP and paper towels. The rolls are huge! Might not be the best quality but so what. It does the job. Also a lot of their produce is pretty good as well as non-perishables like baking goods, oils, and seasonings.

Basically I just need to get my butt up every 30 minutes or so and take a walk around the office. Between sitting at a desk 9 hours, and a 2 hour commute, it's no wonder I feel so tired and lazy all the time. There are a couple people at my office with standing desks, and one even has a monitor mount that moves

As someone who grows half these herbs fresh at home, I'm glad to see the benefits are more than just for the fresh taste of herbs in cooking. It is very hard to kill Oregano and Basil. Those are my two favorite for cooking. I use mint a lot for all sorts of drinks from Mojitos to mint tea. The rosemary plant is a bit

Why am I not surprised by the Grid-it? Haha, you guys rave about those things constantly its a wonder that I haven't gotten one for myself yet! Awesome vinyl on the Macbook by the way.

Evolution doesn't appear to have as nice of integration with Office365 email services which is what we use. Does Evolution have Exchange push?

Try boiling brats in beer for an awesome added flavor!

I haven't used Virtual Box in a while, but I might try it now and use the Seamless mode so I can run Outlook on Ubuntu! That is the one Windows app that I can't live without since it is all we use for email.

I know what the second type of burnout feels like. I've experienced that one the most recent of the three. Being bored and not knowing what to do.

Interesting. I'll have to try this on my indoor plants that are having issues this time of year. It has been such a cold winter and still such a cold spring, that my plants I normally bring outside this time of year are severely lacking in sunlight and nutrients and dying. I'll have to see how this works!

It will be sad to see you leave here Adam, I've been coming to this site for probably just as long as you have been there. I can't even begin to think of half the stuff that I've learned over the years from all your posts. Thank you and good luck in your future endeavors!

Wow, I know exactly where you are coming from. When you mentioned sentences start out correct when listening to someone talk and then fade away I know exactly what you mean. Luckily I force myself to pay attention more especially when my work requires me to. It can be hard sometimes though especially when I'm bored at

I got a BMW 3 series. This is somewhat accurate. Hot German sedan in any variety is a pretty darn good choice.

I know how that goes. It is company policy to not allow anyone to work outside of normal business hours, or allow flex time, or extra vacation time, because as they put it if they allow one person the opportunity, then everyone will want to do it. So we stick to 8-5 monday through friday, and we get 5 hours of pto a

I tried this several times. Sadly, it is "company policy" to require employees to use their own cars to drive to clients. I put 25,000 miles on my car last year. I can't drive an old beater either because it would be bad if I broke down and couldn't get to the office or to a client on the schedule that I work. Can't

Here is my simple reason why dogs are better than cats. Every time I come home from work after being gone for 9 hours, my dogs are excited to see me and greet me in the craziest way possible by going absolutely nuts when I come home. Cats? I'm pretty sure they wouldn't even know you were home. Every cat I know just

As they say, shit happens when you least expect it. Being prepared for the worst, expecting the best is the mindset I like to have. Situational awareness is something people don't have these days with everyone's eyes glued to Candy Crush walking aimlessly through the street. You hear about things like this on the

As I mentioned in my own separate comment, sending lead flying towards the bad guy is a last resort. My primary concern is saving my own butt and the lives of my wife and child. I know it sounds cold and harsh, but I couldn't care less about saving strangers I don't know, but that also means I won't put them in danger
