+1 to not showing them your drivers license. My wife had backed into someone in a parking lot once (very slow, no damage at all) and the other party insisted on getting a picture of her drivers license. Luckily she called me and I told her to only give out name, and insurance info. We never heard back from the guys

There is just something about these old Subarus that make them so lovable with so much character. Maybe its the utility of them or the likability. I currently own two late model Subaru's and I can definitely tell you that when time and money permits, I will be looking for an old 80's Subaru wagon to add to the

LOL of course its a Wisconsin car too. Those idiots in Racine make me lol.

In all seriousness. Check to make sure everyone is alright, no head injuries or neck injuries, etc. If someone looks seriously hurt, call for help immediately do not try to move someone yourself as that can cause further neck or back injuries. Once the authorities show up, give them a report of what happened, and get

Run like hell and GTF out of there! You don't need your insurance going up!

I believe we all know that if you drive a manual, no one has the capability of stealing your car because they can't drive it.

I don't know why everyone is always hyped up about Verizon. I have had Verizon for over two years now paid for by my employer. At least in the midwest, Verizon has absolutely terrible signal. Even in large cities where 4G exists, my phone will cut in and out between 4G and 1x data constantly. When I am driving down

I have a spare desktop I got for free with a core 2 duo and 2 GB RAM that I am running PFSense on for my firewall / VPN. Granted, it isn't a "server" in the sense of a file server or anything but it has been the most rock solid reliable firewall/router I've ever had. I have demoted my Netgear to wi-fi only. I plan to

There are kmarts left in WI? Only one I know of actually is in Sheboygan, but no one cares about Sheboygan. Shopko parking lot is where it's at, that store is doomed almost as much as kmart is. Donuts with traction control off in Subaru in 4 inches of snow FTW!

I must say, I have heard different theories in how to prevent a car from getting stolen, each with a good argument. Some say to keep the windows down, keep the car unlocked, and let people get into it easily so they don't break windows and just dont keep anything valuable in it. I believe that makes you an easy

Probably a bad cable. I have used 35 foot HDMI cables from monoprice before with no issues at all. I have also used a cable included with my DVR from charter cable that had issues. Turns out the connector didn't fit secure. Swapped it out with another "cheap" cable and problem went away.

I used to work at best buy and I NEVER recommended to anyone to buy Monster cables. I told them to get the cheap Dynex ones because it makes no difference it is all a digital signal and you won't notice any difference when the signal travels less than 10 feet or so. Probably why I don't work at best buy anymore lol.

I can definitely vouch for the Lenovo laptops. I have the x230 predecessor; the x220, and I can run pretty much a full work day off a single full charge.

You no like my P@ssword anymore? I thought I was being clever by using @. #sarcasm

If I could find a E30 in that kind of shape I'd be all over it. hah! They liked my suggestion of the Legacy I guess!

I'm glad these people stepped in to help out this poor kid. It's nice to see that not everyone is an asshole. The school that he goes to should consider putting security cameras in their student parking lot. A lot of campuses should really be doing this as well. Then expel the bastards who did this.

Yes I second the Legacy Wagon! I found one just now for $500 http://rockford.craigslist.org/cto/3205867982.html

Even better than a cavalier or a Mercury Topaz that I found earlier! 96 Legacy Outback wagon! http://rockford.craigslist.org/cto/3205867982.html

The 97 Cavalier will then! Not a good car by any means. http://madison.craigslist.org/cto/3221197137.html but cheap.

ah damn. missed a zero. oh well.
