The article didn’t really poke fun, or even try to make the pick funny... it’s just plain with no justification.

He is extremely slow and his gun effectiveness is almost melee, his alt fire is useable to pick away at people medium range but it’s not great.

It doesn’t grab through walls. You can however throw the hook and run around a corner before it retracts back to you... it’s very disorienting and looks like it goes through the wall. He has nothing without that hook. If anything maybe a cool down increase or health reduction on the heal.
