The Mazda 323 GTX was never sold in Aus. The top model was the SS which was basically the same as the non-turbo TX3. There are hundreds of grey import GTX floating around though.
More reasons why this is the best series around at the moment.

Studies show that noise has little effect on safety. Considering the exhaust is pointed away from your direction of travel and the commoner won't hear your Two Brothers fart can until you're very close to them, you can see why. Plus if that person isn't paying enough attention to see you, they aren't going to hear you.
when has racing become a test bed? I get some features. But it's always been a test bed for other racing series. Not much has really found it's way into production cars other than Homologation specials.
Perhaps fanboys are really just people who can only commit/afford one console, so they must defend their investment with all their might.
