I went on a 4wding adventure to the Great Australia Bite and on the way back the alternator in our Pajero decided to pack it in so within 60minutes of doing so the battery was drained so much that it would not allow the car to fire anymore. We stopped overnight on the side of the road and waited until the morning.

That sucks to see but there should be concrete walls to prevent this sort of stuff from happening. The organisers should also be responsible for this incident.
