Thanks! That's a really cool story. It's nice when old cats go out and blow the carbon out just because they can. That Charger is in really nice shape and he just goes out and drives it.

I'm gonna throw it out that this will end up in a climate controlled garage of some old car hoarder along with a bunch of other cars that never get driven.

A long time ago, the first plastic car model I ever really made was that red #71 Daytona... so some of us knew of Bobby Isaac... years later I still love old 69 Chargers.

Need the hi rez version to properly determine the chick hotness factor! :D

"It's almost as if NASA skipped the spaceplane phase altogether and continued with Apollo-style spacecraft. "

It loses a little.... OK... it loses a lot without the NYC / Wooster spokesmodels hanging around it or popping up through the roof.

This is hard to pick just one or any of them individually. What if I just make it easy and say ALL OF THEM! :)

CR sucks ass plain and simple. I fairly certain they're on the honda and toyota payroll.

The answer is obvious ... the 2nd gen Dodge Charger ... 1968 - 70.... especially the 1969 but

Ding Ding Ding!!! WINNER!

I'm a mopar guy and even I think the screaming chicken is the correct answer to the question!

I always wondered why the mainstream media dropped this... there were several blogs in addition to the Atlantic about the Palin birth going on about the time of the election.

I really think this Car Warriors show sucks. I can't comment directly on this caddy episode... mostly cause I fell asleep about 2 minutes into it.

Yes! I would take that also! :)

Never heard of Burgess until recently  The News auto section never really impressed me that much. OK, I haven't lived in MI in a long azz time but I still try to check the online versions of the Freep and the News everyday.

1969: Charger - being the best of the best :) Some would argue '70 but even then there was a major redesign of most of the muscle cars that fattened many of them up. '69 was the last clean year before ungawdly decal packages became more important than actual performance.

Thank you for posting that video kind sir! :)

Hot Rod Lincoln for the win!

That's nothing new around Detroit. Guys used to gas up the snowmobiles and to work at the big 3 plants 30 years ago when it was crappy out.

It's another cash grab by NY to close the ridiculous budget deficit. If they add points, the state gets a $85 surcharge per ticket.
