The fact that she’s so hush-hush about her opinion on abortion makes me think she’s pro-choice. Why wouldn’t she be all over that if she was anti-choice?

Misspelling happens to us all. Though I’m not sure that tit-for-tat is the best approach to a discussion, nor do I entirely understand the logic: because they were horrible to you (which I don’t doubt for a second), you get “even” by misspelling their name?

Do you mean Satmar Hasidim? Perhaps Samtars are another group of which I have not heard. It’s possible. But if you do mean the Satmar group, perhaps we could start having a thoughtful and knowledgeablee discussion about their practices and lifestyle choices by *getting their name right.*

On the one hand, I understand why some people are upset or skeptical about this.

I have zero problem with providing a pittance for security, but why the hell is the government paying for the books/computers/etc of private religious schools? Are they at least required to make basic concessions for taking government money like having non-bigoted hiring processes? Or do they run off with the money…

I’m okay with providing the same level of security to all children, regardless of whether the school is private or public.

Jewish institutions are special targets of terrorism. I don’t see anything wrong with the local government dedicating extra resources to protecting their most vulnerable citizens. I don’t care if the citizens are located in a “private” space. They are most likely to be targeted, and, like all of us, they deserve not…
