I know. Humour.

I was more thinking it tied into the general theme of all "Fargo" stories, that while it's not clear to the characters who started what and what happened when, the audience and the creators can clearly see it was all sparked off by violent, impulsive acts.

I certainly did, though there were mistakes in my recollection at first.

Amazing Spider-Man?!

That makes two of us.

Why do you hate Dodd?

He's got the beard for it. Not to mention the "what a righteous weirdo" reputation.

Welll, eventually, anyway. Hence "for a while". But this isn't exactly the same story, even if it's heavy on the homages. We might get a little Starburns-style epilogue in the closer where we see a stubble-headed Simone joining a commune of travelling punk-rockers, or something.

You'd probably get an icy reaction if you tried that one out on ol' Lester…

First? Maybe not - there's been several mentions of "A Serious Man" and "A Serious Person" throughout this year's crop of episodes, not to mention how reminiscent Lou's disappointment with Reagan was of Larry's disappointment with Rabbis…

I honestly teared up when they hugged.

Not to mention "I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow" last week and "Let's Find Each Other Tonight" the week before.

The Breakfast King abides.

Look at "Miller's Crossing" and "Fargo" (the film), as well - in both stories a whole lot of bother happens, but by the end of it everything is essentially back to normal, minus a couple of corpses. Margie is going to have her baby and take a small break and then go right back to work; Leo is going to keep managing

Dodd may not be Dead, but for a few moments he was Dad.

Heck, Floyd mentions children upstairs in the house. Do they just play boardgames all day and never talk to their grandma?

Eh, she might still. Bernie Baumbaum in "Miller's Crossing" was quite the manipulator for a while. She could wise up and start pulling strings.

We heard the Kitchen bro in black say "Wait" right before he got his throat cut. It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-hearing-it-somehow moment.

Eh, I misremembered. So sue me. This is a TRUE story.
