How many other people noticed the parallels between Lou's little group of buddies at the bingo game and The Dude's bowling team?

I was honestly surprised Rye died - I was expecting based on his appearance in the trailers that this series would be a longform origin story and would end with him changing his name, joining forces with a stoic assassin named Gaer Grimsrud and being called to a job in Brainerd.

It's even a conceptual ripoff, given that in both the film and this the only hook was that a famous pop star was in it (though Gaga will not age as well as Bowie nor ever take her career to any kind of equivalence in achievement).

So, did, like, no-one else catch that the Lady Gaga character is blatantly just a giant homage to the regrettable David Bowie/Catherine Deneuve/Susan Sarandon 80s vampire-erotica movie "The Hunger"? Sure, she's using a finger-claw instead of a necklace-tooth, but apart from that it's pretty much the same formula.

How in the hell am I the only one profoundly unsettled by Cobworld? Was that not the most unsettling thing you've ever seen? The second time I watched it I had to fast-forward through that part.
