Eh the "Eat the cake Etta May" thing with Jay Z seemed off to me. But live and let live.

While I'm not really a pop music fan in general and agree that women in music are exploiting themselves / being exploited. I can say with out a shadow of a doubt that the racist stereotypes perpetuated by Mr. O'Reilly are a significantly worse for young black girls and minorities in general.

that was by dinner last night exactly

I'd say its about 50/50 for me. she offends about 50 of the time and she's tolerable to funny the other 50. I'm still weirded out over the Uganda be kidding me. Its not funny offensive its just stupid.

I'm liking Happy Highwayman's word: defeminate.

well if I wanted to be an asshole I could start screaming your defeminating me to get a seat on the subway...although screaming made up words would probably have more to do than the concept itself.

Thank you. I have no problem with eating meat in concept as long as the animal has a reasonable comfortable life and is killed humanely. But causing undue pain for amusement pisses me off the as it would when dogs ears and tails get clipped.

clearly I haven't been in position do to much research. But that does give some comfort.

I agree with most of what you're saying but for example Maternal Mortality is leading cause of death in many pre industrialized nations. I think 1% may be a little on the low side of the estimate.

My ideal situation would have the amenities of a hospital but without sharing air with with sick people. I know its unreasonable but I'm all sorts of afraid of superbug infections.

and smile about it. Who has ever smiled during a pap smear.

Yeah, its not really a problem in the US but I agree its an uncomfortable issue abroad that involves a whole bunch of socio-economic pressures outside of pure preference.

I think Papacy may need to trademark Catholic cause that is a PR nightmare.

I kinda love when hateful fucks loss all sense of tact and politics and just saying whatever idiot shit running in their brains.

I don't think AnarchyofTaste is really thinking to hell with anyone else. More that we all try to find a place we can afford with some like minded people and some places to hang out. Which isn't inherently bad. And landlords worry about making money which also isn't bad. On an individual basis no one really is at

This is why is this issue is difficult, no one is really wrong. You're not wrong for wanting a local business that suits your needs and your neighbors aren't wrong for fearing what those local business could lead to. Nor is the person that wants to open the coffee shop or wealthier person who sees the nifty coffee

As a dead broke college education transplant New Yorker who has spent 10 years in the various outer borough neighborhoods I'm curious what you see as being the right way and what is the wrong way.

Depends on who you speak too. I stripped in a college and a couple years after to pay off student loans and have some savings but I lost a couple formative years to build my career and it was hard to adjust my spending when I went into entry level work. So despite being well educated and firmly middle class parents

ughh, didn't know that bad choice of words on my part.

No one is deserves to be abused. She strikes me as a social climber that went into the marriage with an agenda but no one put a gun to Mel's head forcing him marry her or impregnate her.
