I will agree with you on everything but the Honda and Subaru part. The new Honda stuff is looking pretty good, and is a complete 180* from there previous gen stuff. Just look at the Civic! Subaru’s latest stuff is looking pretty good as well. Look what they did with the Legacy and the WRX.

That is because VW puts their money into interiors, and cheaps out on engine parts, often making critical engine parts out of plastic that continually fail. Plastic waterpump anyone?

What is not practical about the new WRX? For the 2015+ they lengthened the wheelbase, and it now has alot of rear leg room. It is wide enough to fit 3 carseats in the back.
