I like the Juke. I also like uniquely-designed vehicles that stand out from the crowd. While it makes financial sense for an auto manufacturer to have their vehicles appeal to a wider array of consumers, it's nice when a vehicle comes out of left field with crazy design cues not in use anywhere else.

Call me a cynic, but I just automatically assume all of these 'notes' are faked. I'm in the media, and literally every one of them in the past year has been a false attempt to push some social agenda while giving good people doing that a bad name.

That fish is one of the greatest moments in the history of film.

I once stalled at the Nurburgring track entrance. In a Peugeot 3008 diesel. It was the most embarrassing thing I've *ever* done.

Yes, this completely. I especially hate those last bit of rolling to a stop, whoopsie didn't get it out of gear fast enough ones. Where I have the clutch depressed fully but for some reason or other I forget to put it back into the middle. Just that last little THONK and the slight pull forward. It's like a putz

A Prelude brother-in-arms! My dad taught me to drive in a manual '85 Prelude. Amazingly fun little car.

LOL- there's nothing worse. You're looking all cool with your manual sports car, the light turns green, and you realize you had it in 5th instead of 1st and you get that "WHOOMP!" sound of stalling.

You when couch your head between your shoulders and turn the ignition in 1/16th of a second hoping nobody noticed.

I drive a 5-speed VW TDI, it's downright impossible to stall. But I think all manny drivers feel for you, there's definitely a feeling you get just a millisecond before it stalls and you realized your error.

Repeatedly stalling at the lights until it turns red again.

My mother laughed at me when I stalled at the light last week...

happens to everyone, and everyone knows that it happens to everyone—that doesn't make it any less embarrassing, though. Every clutch/motor combo behaves differently.

I used to work for Monster Cable and they have many high end cars. I was their staff photographer and "needed" new photos of the cars. We took some cars out to play and take photos. I stalled a Porsche Turbo, at the toll booth crossing back into San Francisco. The tolltaker laughed at me. I was shamed. In my defense,

You're missing the point of this ad. The selling point they're using for this car is that it lasts a long time - it's shown throughout the length of the ad. But that's just a subtle message as it's mostly a reflection of the more important things in life.

Just last year, I stalled on a hill start at a short light. Missed the cycle by the time I got it started again. Hot with fury and embarrassment, I proceeded to stall a SECOND time, missing the SECOND light cycle, as people leaned on their horns behind me. The shame lay heavy on me that day.

Man, for real, why is that so difficult? I just revved the piss out of it and eased off the rest of the ride. The next day I test drove a Focus ST and I swore to myself that I would not stall it in front of the sales guy. He didn't even ride with me but I am proud to say I didn't stall it the whole trip. I bought

Was going to post "grinding gears on a shift" — but this is worse.

I was in the back seat and 2 of my friends were in the front seat. The owner of the Manual car was in the passenger seat helping my other friend get acquainted with driving a manual. He was getting pretty good in parking lots and we took him out on the road. There was an incline of about 3 feet at a stop light and

Came to post this. I DD a stick for 3 years, went to test drive a new Genesis and it had 9 miles on it and the clutch was so damn touchy compared to my daily. Stalled it with the sales guy in the car and felt like an imbecile. Every car is different and it takes some getting used to but it still sucks every time.

Totally agree. Volvo has used orange in the past so orange could be worked back into the R-design versions (as details this time), maybe bring back a legitimate R.

Very nice, except the color and wheels. I have a soft spot for the short-wheelbase 740i Sport.
