Those orange accents HAVE to be an option in the future. They look so friggin sharp.

The interior of the Volvo estate concept as well. The orange and neutral combo is seriously sharp.

"Unfortunately, most people will think it's a Datsun"

full disclosure: I'm already at work :(

I want to drive to work, not bawl my eyes out

Nimrod was a skilled hunter in the bible. It wasn't until Bugs Bunny jokingly referred to Elmer Fudd as Nimrod that it became an insulting term

if you say "viziv" really fast it sounds like an insect buzzing past your ear

TRUTH. THE MEDIA. LIBERAL AGENDA. THEY.

I hear you, and for the general population, you're absolutely right. On a site like jalopnik though, where people are generally pretty enthusiastic about cars like these for reasons more than their looks, I don't think it's fair to refer to them as money sucking black holes.

a lot more than you might imagine. those that are in bad shape aren't usually gone beyond reasonable repair anyhow. I won't deny parts prices aren't expensive, but anyone motivated could likely deal with any issues. With the M70 cars, it's electronics and other various parts that go wrong. the engines are mechanically

There are many nikasil blocks that are still running fine these days. If the car passes a compression test, there will be no problem

That's a bit of scare mongering there. The M70 isn't the money pit you make it out to be if you buy an example that was actually cared for. I owned a 1991 850i for a number of years. With regular maintenance, I had no trouble with the engine. I bought the thing with over 250,000 kilometres.

This car has aged so well. That V12 too...

That's a reporter, not an anchor. GOD DAMMIT TRAVIS HOW CAN I TRUST THIS SITE ANYMORE

Very stylish. They did well with their kodo design.
