The "S" trim level doesn't make it go faster
My old 91 850i had a few gremlins. The telescopic steering wheel and the mirrors had minds of their own. Not fun when driving. A lot of people get scared of the V12 but I found mine to be pretty reliable. It's really the other areas of the car that are more troublesome, in my experience.
