No one is debating that

Now playing

Always loved this car since Need for Speed 2. Bought a black diecast model of it a few years ago. As far as concepts go, it's not a very dated design. It still looks very good.

A cop gave me a ticket for a burnt out brake light once. He never mentioned I could have it dismissed if I proved I replaced the bulb. Ended up paying a paralegal $200 to fight it because I didn't know any better.

That's right, BMW has listened to you, the people, and given us a manual trans for the M3. Please write your local BMW dealer and thank them profusely.

No, this is a 1997 840Ci. One of two in North America in Daytona Violet. I've got a Brilliant Red 850i (V12) in the garage as well though. I don't know why I do this to myself.

goddamn that is depressing

If you're including all of North America, Toronto's Gardiner Expressway is pretty bad. It's in a constant state of disrepair. Chunks of concrete often fall off and there's many areas where the rebar is exposed

Thank you sir. I'm familiar with the 8 - I also have a red '91 850i. First time with the V8 though ('97 840Ci). It is far more fuel efficient than I thought it would be. Sadly it has a broken nose already. I bought it that way. It needs some body work done. In light of that, I gave a seriously lowball offer but the

Thanks! It is. But the V12 isn't all that bad. I have a red 850i as well. Most problems tend to be more electrical in nature. This is a 97' 840Ci in daytona violet

Okay, admission time. Have you ever bought something that was advertised as “some assembly required?” Have you possibly ever dated a rebel, with the expectation that you could change their less socially redeeming qualities?” Lastly, have you ever bought something at a bargain price, offered as such because it

what the hell, man

These things are so incredibly comfortable

..but the 8-series ended production before the Z8 was even released. The M8, if made, would have been probably been released from 94-96, the same years as the M-tuned 850CSi. The CSi is what the standard 850i should have been from the start.

BMW recently brought it out for display during an event somewhere in North America (the event and location are slipping my mind). Here's some shots of it out in the public: http://imgur.com/a/PPSuC/all

Yep, naturally aspirated. They're all from the M70 family. The 850i/early 850Ci cars had the standard M70, the later 850Ci's had the M73, the 850CSi had the S70, the M8 prototype has the S70/1, and the McLaren F1 had the S70/2

M8 Prototype. 550hp V12, lightweight body, stripped out interior, 6-speed. BMW execs said there was no market for it. They were probably right, but if only...

I've got a paddle shifters on mine

Cindy

indubitably, some might say

Hahaha, holy shit.
