My '89 Prelude Si has yellow foglights from the factory!
Sure, we all would. It's just that no one's actually going to pony up and buy it
Here's a time lapse of the storm. It is pretty eerie. http://globalnews.ca/news/702927/ti…
In our defense, it was a beautiful day 30 minutes before the heavy rain started. Hot, sunny and 33 celcius. I was driving to work, slightly pissed that I had to work a night shift, but once the rain started, I was glad I didn't need to drive again until midnight.
It was meant to be a cheaper model so I have no problems with it being the way it is. Sure it would have been nice to have them offered with a manual as well, but the majority of E31 customers opted for automatic anyways. Aside from the 6-speed V12 models, the 840Ci is holding its value far better than the 850i/850Ci…
I'll take you up on that bet and use the winnings to buy parts because these cars are expensive to own. Look, my argument here is that the 850CSi is what the 850i should have been, which would have made room for a more hardcore M8 model.
I know - I own an 850i. As it is, in completely stock configuration, its lacking. but yes, the torque is great. All I'm saying is the 850CSi is what the 850i should have been from the start.
Buy one then. I did.
All I'm saying is the CSi is what the 850i should have been from the start.
I own an 850i. Don't label a criticism as hate. It's ignorant to think these cars were adequate from the factory. If they were, people wouldn't perform the upgrades they do now. What's an 840i? There's the 840Ci. Some of which came with a manual transmission.
The 850CSi was the compromise BMW made when they decided there was no market for an M8 supercar. So it's essentially an M-tuned 850i, but it's not exactly a hardcore M-car either.
Would have liked to see the F12 go around the track.
That is the sweetest old man I've ever seen
Yeah, definitely. I guess people are starting to realize the CSi might be an appreciating asset, unlike the lesser E31 models. Too bad 5 years ago I was a broke student.
