That imagined millennial age range drives me nuts even though it really shouldn’t matter. I work with guys who complain about millennials (20-somethings in their minds) not knowing how to do anything for themselves. When I say I’m a millennial they’re like ‘no you’re 40'.

Yeah, unlike the rest of us, who do work in a career for the sheer pleasure of [whatever the hell you do for work].

“Oh, yeah, in this version of Blade vampires have green blood.”

It’s true, that guy was totally out of pocket saying you were thinking way too hard about this.

Over 600 words and you don’t seem to have thought very hard about it at all.

It’s an appletini. I recognized it when I saw it, but if you don’t have the foreknowledge of knowing that a bright green drink in a martini glass on TV is almost always an appletini, you could have relied upon the dialogue, which hinted at it when Jen said “An appletini? Cute.”

“I thought of writing some black characters into a fantasy novel. I didn’t do it, of course, but the thought did cross my mind. Remarkable stuff.”

I’ve been waiting for Kevin to be shown outside of the sitcom world and as a real monster. Not just an intolerable doofus, but a true, unrepentant, abuser. There have been hints of that but with one episode left I don’t think it will happen. I’ve been an Allison apologist because I really thought Kevin was going to be

Now playing

Moonlight is way too low, True Blood is too high, and based on everything I’ve heard, from often being completely word for word derivative of the Buffyverse, to lore inconsistencies, to baffling creative choices, none of the CW shows deserve to be anywhere near this list. Also, Jenny Nicholson made a 153 minute movie

Look, I’m not here to kink-shame you or anything, and there’s nothing wrong with you spending your off hours perusing the BBW offerings on PornHub - but this aint PornHub.  You need to learn to interact with people in polite society, rather than using the fetish terms that get YOU hard.  I mean, if you keep acting

Will he stick to the book or will he tack on his own ending, requiring twenty minutes of last minute exposition over a soundtrack of driving strings?

Lipnicki said that he started taking acting classes and “really studying it” after high school, and he started doing theater as a way to work with more actors and really get into acting. These days he’s back in the business, doing what he can when he can. He told /Film that he has a “great relationship” with his past

Sure but like others have said above, some parts of a movie or TV do not lend themselves to improvisation and yet we still see them all the time.  Big actions scenes and stunts fall into that for sure but so do just simple effect shots or even complicated camera shots(that may or may not be in an action context).

I think Zaslav has sent one clear and unambiguous signal in all of this: he thinks everyone is way over-invested in streaming. He does not believe that streaming is special, or is the future, or any of that; he’ll treat it as just another channel, and not even the most important one. So, of course he’s on board with

The problem with Philly PD is that they don’t show up when you do need them either though?

You mean like when the Philadelphia PD snatched a child from a mother after arresting her when she was trying to get away from a clash with protestors...

Why make it about protecting Wong (et al.)’s monopoly on magic when you could just say that Donny kidnapped and endangered a woman (and clearly others too) without her consent?”

So the guy didn’t know She-Hulk transforms into a human woman? How is that even remotely conceivable?

I took it as, “I didn’t really think about the fact that She-Hulk is your alter-ego and not the other way around,” I’ve only thought about what I want. Like, academically, he knows of course there’s a person form there, but hasn’t really thought it through. This is Karl in Love, Actually, or this random putz from As

I was frankly amazed that a fictional judge said it would be “weeks” to return a decision. Like, court cases in TV shows usually seem to all take place over the course of a couple of days. Someone files a lawsuit, the next day they’re getting witness testimony, there’s a twist, a day or two later the suit is resolved.

No... no. Just disappointed.
