Which bit was nonsense? A revolution leading the historically oppressed to become the oppressors is his explicitly stated goal. In the council meeting after becoming king, he says exactly that. Something like “in the future, there will only be the conquerors, and the conquered. I’d rather be the former.”

Oh, absolutely. But I find that the people defending him aren’t trying to pretend that he was a good guy, merely that his awfulness was directed toward a noble goal.

At the risk of repeating something for the Nth time, where N is a very large number...Killmonger did not want an end to oppression. He wanted different people to be oppressed.

That’s not the only problem with the graphic. There’s also the fact that it’s complete fiction. It’s a draft of a design submitted for feedback on r/fakemaps for a story somebody was writing. If nothing else, the “approx 2015" should be something of a giveaway.
