WHILE I AGREE about the triple double thing wholeheartedly, it can’t negate the fact that the Thunder suck. Outscored with Russ on the bench by 40 through 4 games. Assuming he’s out for a total of one quarter per game, that’s 10 points foregone when Russ is on the bench. He has nothing around him.

I like, maybe even love, Westbrook, but his season is only historic because we have a base ten number system. If we had, say, a base twelve number system, the same people yelling “M-V-P” will think he’s a really good scorer and distributor on a mediocre team.

There’s no way Nenê got any MVP votes.

Having the 4th game in a series be good, and having the series tied at 7 when most people thought it would be Spurs in 5 or 6, is most certainly worthy of an article on a Sunday morning.

Smallest sized teams of the four major sports combined with probably the highest potential for one player to take control on his/her own.

+1 MOAB dropped on Melo.

Perhaps it is time to revisit that draft lottery status for the best-worst team. Miss the playoffs by one game get a bump in % for the lottery.

The fact that we had a team that had a better win record than the Cavs for a month, and had victories over GS, Rockets, and Cleveland twice, make it’s a little harder to comprehend how we got beat out by the Bulls.
Dion Waiters made all the difference, but he never planned to come back anyway, so this is probably the

This was a really special team. They were sitting at 11 and goddamn 30 with no hope of a turnaround and every excuse to quit, in a league that has gotten to the point where tanking on one end and resting players on the other is encouraged. The NBA landscape is ripe for teams to give up individual games and entire
