It doesn’t!

Well, I’m not going to use quotes, or copy and paste, but it seems to me that your basic argument was that it’s all well and good for Uma to forgive QT, but as a moviegoing public we should exercise our own discretion, because what he did was pretty shitty (feel free to correct me, with or without quotes, if I got

I thought the spiel was pretty on point.

The Root did a piece on it. Here it is! Maybe they don’t like covering stories across sites?

Leaving aside the fact that the term ‘sexual offenders’ is so broad that’s it’s ridiculous to make any kind of blanket statement about ‘narcissistic personality disorders’, the last thing needed here is the death penalty. Because...

Why is everyone so mad at this dude? His post wasn’t crazy unreasonable, he certainly wasn’t defending Affleck, and he’s apologized, like, 18 times. He literally asked a question.

I bet this was planned out between Hopper people and Greenpeace beforehand. They seemed a little to eager to accommodate some random actor with a fairly major request.

My best friend used to swear by this method. It did not work, but I was too polite to tell her.

Cardin is going to win, but he’s going to have to spend money on a primary race, which ideally could have been saved for the actual election. And if Manning turns out to be a somewhat effective campaigner, she could do some damage with younger/lefty voters. Neither of which is helpful!

I don’t think he’s aged badly at all. He just lost his hair (it happens) and is usually photographed wearing stodgy suits, which doesn’t help.

She’s probably not bad for a Trump... which still leaves a lot of room for badness.

Icicle Melts is the worst song on that album. I don’t take any issue with the idea that she was anti-abortion, but she doesn’t seem to have been particularly obnoxious about it.

Spoiler alert, it’s not! Unless they change the book drastically. Which, come to think of it, also seems like something Ridley Scott would do. What’s more terrifying than shoddy soldering, after all?

The last four songs on No Need to Argue represent some of the best 15 minutes of music you will ever hear. What a great album.

I think it would be odd if her political views were well known, but a cursory google search didn’t bring up much (other than the Catholicism). If she was pro-life, she didn’t seem to have been particularly strident about it. I don’t see anything about her views on immigration online. So I will continue to fawn,

I’m super pumped for this. It’s based on a great novel, Tobias Menzies is in it, and the Franklin expedition story is fantastic even without the more... mystical plot elements.

I know! I’m also teasing. A Bronte fight is the best kind of fight!

I’ve been to Haworth! It was lovely. I’m racking my brain to try and remember if I drank any local water. I guess it must be less corpse-y by now, right? Right?

Bronte fight! Bronte fight!

Jane Eyre would be vastly improved if she took that advice.
