No kidding. Some people can make it work. There are too many Uber drivers now to guarantee $25/hour as they had before. Now it almost had to be offset with tips which hasn’t been apart of their business model. Its fine for a side gig, but not really long term. At least in my experience.

$23 in tips. Otherwise I receive 80% of the fare. Be it $5 or $50. But thus far no one has seen fit to offer tips.

While I didn’t expect tips I had heard from friends who used UBER that they made it a habit to tip. Each time I used UBER I too tipped the driver.

It’s true. I’ve driven for UBER for about 3 months now and havev received two tips totaling $23.00. It’s terrible. The only thing you can really do is hope and pray you hit a Surge area.
