The doctors at the CDC have the resources to research the virus in the infected patients and, most critically, work up how they responded to the experimental treatment. The selfishness and short sightedness of the American people never ceases to amaze me.

Agreed! Not only are two people getting treatment from some of the best doctors on the planet, their treatment may help stop the future spread of the illness and possibly lead to an effective treatment for the virus. Can't we just call this a win-win?

A lot of these comments sound like they were written by people who A) don't get that people can develop severe mental illnesses including schizophrenia at a young age. And B) really loathe and despise the mentally ill.
