Anyone that lives in a decent size city and orders Papa John’s, Domino’s, etc. over independent joints deserve what they get. Most cities have a decent pizza place, no one should ever have to subject themselves to this shit...

All in all, though, I find the completely absurd mesh of styles to be enjoyable and a nice break from the often overly self-serious western RPGs. FFXV might be teeming with angst, but it seems more like a love affair with the material it works with (including Final Fantasy itself) than a cynical corporate product.

Jason, I’ve read all of the Ff15 reviews that went live this morning and this is not only clearly the best Ff15 review, but one of the best reviews period. It’s also the only one that I believe was written by an actual FF fan.

At a certain point in reading this I stopped considering whether I’m putting down money and just got engrossed in a moving and emotionally vivid review. That was great.
