Well, 2000-year-old actors are difficult to persuade to work in television.

If they wish to make a biopic from scratch, they must first invent the universe.

I would like more Microsoft Home references on here, please.

It bears repeating: the third and fourth Dr. Brain games are the best. They're substantially different than the others but some of the best blending of educational content and raw fun.

Way more than usual. Rock Band 4 and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 are tops for me, but Halo 5 is also high on my radar. …that's a lot of numbers. :(

My legitimate answer to this is that I was planning on playing Banjo-Kazooie. We are all stuck in perpetual arrested development.

Edmark always gets left out of edutainment nostalgia. Thinkin' Things, Mighty Math, Imagination Express, and the House games, were definitely geared towards much younger audiences, but they're certainly at least as good as comparable products.

I have a copy, like, right here. I haven't gotten around to playing it because I assumed it was just a creativity toolset thing, but it sounds like it's far more substantial and weird than that!

I did a stealth post about it in WAYPTW yesterday…

Haven't heard of it until now and it looks pretty interesting. Thanks!

The bits of the environment I've seen remind me a little of Miasmata, which is one of my absolute favorite games of the last five years or so, so that can't be a bad

This is really disappointing to read. I want more games where you can just explore interesting worlds and the environment reveals a story. But it sounds like the world isn't interesting, and the story is dull and meaningless. It's also disappointing that it sounds like it relies too heavily on audio logs; I can't

So Mysterium was actually a great deal of fun. It's a community-driven event, so apart from the few hours a day with scheduled panels and discussions, it was a fairly open-ended hangout with the Myst community. The people are really dedicated and brought all kinds of art and fan products and such, and it was a

Bush warned us against human-animal hybrids years ago! We never listened!

Rare Replay does have a shocking level of love and attention in it. Even beyond the direct nostalgic stuff (new Blast Corps art!), there's enough dedication in it to make me genuinely interested in something largely unplayable like Underwurlde. I swear on my life that I'll beat that!
