The design didn’t change until 2021, so according to your stats, the new design has helped sales tremendously with a massive boost to numbers - even during production limitations.

Uh, do you think the state AG goes after McDonald’s franchises for all having the same price?

1st gear: I don’t think market share applies in this case.

In which we find out that when Elon has competition, he’s kinda bad at business.”

I’m no Elon fan, but Jalop deff has an axe for him. 1 of 1 = 100% market share. Off course they will loose the share game as more EVs come on board. That a good thing. That means competition is working. But lets not kid ourselves, Tesla is still the lion’s share and is beating the volume/profit game.

The bias for which

That’s a hot take if I’ve ever seen one. Tesla sales are increasing quarterly lol. 23Q1 the Model Y is up 79% Yes, I typed that correctly.

1st: Tesla market share in EVs went down but their market share of the automotive industry as a whole is up. That’s the big thing. I don’t think anyone expects Tesla to hold a greater than 50% market share once EVs fully replace ICE but it’s very likely they will still wind up as one of the big 3 as the dust settles

The pie is growing, but article focuses on the slice.

It’s just the typical anti-Tesla phrasing this site is known for to spin it whichever way makes Tesla sound worse. Tesla’s overall market share continues to increase, it’s just that ICE market share continues to be converted into EV market share, and other manufacturers have the capacity to pick up some of that slack.

Not a Tesla fan but reporting that Tesla is loosing electric car market share is misleading. Electric cars are gaining market share overall and Tesla is gaining market share in the car market as a whole, it's just the electric portion of the pie has more players now.

Ford made that decision based on the data that most people wanted a truck or SUV. It’s a risk, but it’s logical. GM is getting rid of Car Play even though the data shows everyone wants it. That decision makes no sense at all.

Shame cars don’t already have some non-GPS device that records mileage. Maybe one that Texas could check during an annual vehicle inspection.

C&D hit 0-60 in 3.8 in their long term M340i, 3.7 in a M340i xdrive. So what about being slower?

touch capacitve buttons are not really worse than physical buttons. However on the steering wheel i would be concerned about accidental presses.

If you have crud building up in your car’s buttons, stop living like a pig.

Is that blank square area on the grill of the Maybach version where the Mercedes logo should be actually how it looks? Because if so, that makes it quite possibly even worse than BMW’s recent offerings, and boy is that not something I’d ever have expected to say.

If the G90 started at $75k, then I would agree how great it is, all that luxury would be good value. But it’s not. It’s almost the same price as a brand-new S-Class.

That’s seems the exact opposite of what I have experienced/observed over a few decades and at least 20 NY-FL runs in cars that scream “ticket me” even when standing still. Virginia highway cops are well know for writing tickets when you are , literally, one MPH over the limit. It may be a different story off the

I’m going to take this story with a grain of salt.

One thing that was somewhat attractive about the dealer model in the past was that some people could negotiate substantial discounts off the sticker price. However in recent years thanks to pandemic induced shortages, increasingly, it’s been a case of “the price is the price”. Not only is it “the price is the price”,
